Bisbee, AZ
Bisbee, AZ - Until the copper mines closed a few years ago Bisbee was believed to be one of the per capita riches towns in the west. One look at the massive hotels, many with hand made ornate designs, and I had no reason to question that thought. They are elegant, well maintained, built on some of the most amazing sites, and huge. Bisbee now depends on tourist and from the looks of things they seem to be doing quite well.
Spend quite a few hours walking and driving the streets.
About three miles south is a small town called Naco. There is an RV Park with a georgeous golf course. Someday I will be returning for at least a month. Wow! The prices in Naco are so low anyone can retire - and live like a King or Queen.
