Durango, Colorado

Almost every town in the world is a location where something began or begins. Abilene, Kansas has it's reputation for the old west cattle drives. K-6, Camp Humphries, Korea, for the antics of my dear departed friend, Vic Devers, and myself. Only God knows how we stayed out of trouble, and of course there is Durango, Colorado, which is known by many for it's location at the base of several mountain passes in the south west corner of Colorado. Denver has it's beauty and fame, but after traveling around the world several times, I have never found any place that can compare to the natural beauty of the mountains to the north of Durango. The town itself is also quite special and as such gets it's own page.

Folks, if you can't have fun here you don't need to travel much further than your therapist.
