Quartzsite RV Rally

No doubt the number varies from year to year, but I was told up to a million recreational vehicles of all shapes and sizes can be found on the desert. Regardless of the actual number if one includes the snow birds from Yuma to Lake Havasu, their numbers are unbelievable. Starting January huge tents are erected in Quartzsite and tens of thousands of people decend on the small town. I joined the Boon Docking band for a few days. Fortunately, I had meet three couples on the road who knew the routine. Their company made for a remarkable adventure filled with laughs, good food, and lots of cheer. I salute Debbie, Frank, Pat, Don, Ginny, and Mike, my new friends, and thank them for their hospitality.
